ArcheoParc Schnals ArcheoParc Schnals is situated at Unser Frau in Schnals at a height of some 1,500 m. Visible from the museum building and from its open-air annexe is Tisental with its montane ridge, behind which was found the Iceman at 3,210 m above sea level. The purpose of this archaeological park is to recreate the past as vividly as possible. www.archeoparc.it
Passeier Valley museum and Andreas Hofer's birthplace At Sandwirt, just before St. Leonhard, two museums are now combined. Once an open-air museum with ancient historic buildings and everything that goes with this. In the birthplace of Andreas Hofer there is the museum devoted to Tyrol's freedom fighters. There is a small museum to be seen with private objects, furniture and documents from the time of Tyrol's struggle for freedom with Napoleon's troops. The events of 1809 and the solemn promise of 1796 can be seen in the memorial chapel. Haflinger horses are also bred at Sandhof. The walk along the Passer river is also very beautiful. www.museum.passeier.it
Typewriter museum Peter Mitterhofer In the centre of Partschins. There are about 100 typewriters of every kind to be seen. The Sonnenberger Panoramaweg, leading along the slope to the village of Naturns, begins here. The Partschins waterfall above the village is South Tyrol's largest waterfall.

Meran 2000 Alpin Bob A bob sled run, year-round, in South Tirol... ...and the longest in Italy, at an elevation of 1900 meters. Meran 2000’s Alpine Bob winds through the trees and over the mountain terrain. “Buckle up!” they yell at the start, and then you are off in your sled to the base, on the rails, up to 12 meters high off the ground. The action, down the mountain, lasts for 1.1 kilometres. The young at heart and those looking for the perfect adrenalin rush love the track; they just can't get enough of it!! www.meran2000.net/de/meran_bob.php
